Research is always encouraged at all levels. To bring awareness about social obligations and discipline, students units like NSS and Prayas are quite active. Institute organizes an annual social gathering "Astitva" every year giving scope and a platform to young talents to show cause it. RGSIOP offers B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy and ADMLT programmes affiliated to MSBTE / DBATU and approved by PCI, Govt. of Maharashtra.

The institute has a dedicated Training & Placement cell that connects students with top pharmaceutical companies for internships and placements.
